Alan Sillars - Bass

Alan Sillars is originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area.  Alan was inspired to become a bassist in high school.  His main influence came form Black Sabbath.  He branched off from the heavy metal style bass playing to a more groove style.  Alan has played in a variety of original and cover bands, consisting mainly of heavy metal and rock.  After years of playing in the Boston music scene, Alan moved to NYC in 2000 to pursue a more challenging music scene.  In 2002 Alan was still searching for a serious original rock band.  In the fall of 2002 Alan joined Gray after seeing a want ad in a local music store.
