Rich Gray (singer/songwriter), was born in NYC and grew up listening to James Taylor, Cat Stevens, and Neil Young. Rich began studying music at 16 after watching a friend's brother jam out a few songs on his guitar. Rich didn't realize his passion and natural talent for music until he was invited on stage by the house band of a local bar to sing Pearl Jam's "Black". Needless to say, it was the showstopper. He then studied classical guitar, and vocals throughout college while performing in cover bands. Rich progressed onto solo acoustic acts, and moved onto performing original music throughout the NY C music scene before meeting fellow band members and quickly forming GRAY.
